I have CS2. Um...as for user friendliness, have you used any Photoshop program before? If not, it might be a bit difficult to get started on CS2. I mean, it's not hard to use or anything, it will just get some practising and experience to understand what stuff does.

When I got Photoshop 7.0, I looked at a bunch of tutorials and tried them out. Also, I would spend hours trying all the buttons and filters, etc on it to figure out what happens.

So yeah. Look for tutorials. They don't have to be CS2 tuts, either, because the other versions are really similar.

Well, you can read the manual. And you should have found out if it was user friendly before you dropped the money to buy it.

I have CS2 too but it is fairly easy to use for me because I used Paint Shop Pro before I bought PS CS2.

So you might check out the tutorials from the Big Book of Resources to get you started. Most of the finished products are very awesome but very easy to create.

my boss just got CS2 and let me play around with it. It's awesome. If you've used photoshop before, it's a breeze, basically the same controls and stuff.
