Ok. So this guy Shaine (remember him?) well, he asked me to be his gf, I barely knew him so I said I wasn't sure blah blah blah. I went to his house, he seemed fine, but I knew I would never like him in that way, so I told him no, I don't want to be his gf, but I still like him. Well, he replied by saying "hmmm ok. I'm thinking of moving back with my dad in england anyway, I know a few girls there who'll be my gf." I'm like wtf. Is all he wants a gf? I mean he made it sound like tha'ts all he wanted me for, jsut to be his gf, like he didn't care about ME at all. I got really pissed at that. Not to mention he's only 14, he shouldn't even BE dating girls yet

It was like he didn't care what their personanality was like at all...I mean sure I'm the one who refused to be his gf, but he sounded like he didn't even want me anyway when I refused It hurt...

Is having a gf all guys care about?

It differs with each person. Some of my friends are those hopeless romantics who spoils a girl rotten when they go out with her and other of my friends are just like him. They just want a girlfriend just so they have that title or what such...anyway keep your head up because if he honestly is going to move to England just to make you jealous or anything like that...he sounds really pathetic

I know I'm not like that. (that prolly explains why i'm so picky when it comes to girls ) But yea. Thats not like what all guys care about. Some are air heads and some are not. so yea.

maybe he was trying to make you jealous. my guy friends don't care about girlfriends.. they care about... videogames.

maybe he just felt hurt, so he felt like hurting you? but um about the guys only wanting a gf so they can say they have one, i think thats true with most/some guys

i dunno. there are good guys and then there are bad guys. i would think for me, right now i'd really want a gf. and my friends tell me its probably my hormones. sounds weird, but around this age, your emotions start going crazy so.. yea. im really lovesick and stuff. so its normal. but its still pathetic. i mean i want a gf, but i for sure would NOT go and ask a girl "do you wanna go out with me?" just for the sake of having a gf.
