Okay, this is Jen again (not emily).

Well, you know how most kids now-a-days are more into hiphop, r&b, and rap? Well, I am into those stuff too, but I also like different kind of music like kpop, pop, techno/trance, etc.

Well, most of the time when I'm listening to something else that people aren't listening to now-a-days my friends would be all like, "ewwwwwwwwww". I pretend like it's not bothering me, but it DOES.

I like every kind of music basically, but techno/trance, aznpop or whatever is what I like the most, and my friends just won't stop bugging me.

I told them to stop, and I talked to them about it and stuff, but they just don't understand.

How can I get them to shut up, and stop making fun of my music.

have them listen to that kind of music and maybe they'll see what yu mean by when you like it.

Tell your friends this is your music that you listen to and it's none of their business what your ears take in.

i hate people that are only into one kind of music and then are dissatisfied when you listen to something else around them. its not like youre trying to get on their nerves, its just you like it. pretend to hate their music when theyre around.

tell them that they're being immature, and that just cuz you like different music doesn't mean you're a bad person, and they are your friends so they shouldn't care about one difference between you and them... and everything...
