For icons, where can you find pictures of celebs, random things (shoes, candy, etc.) and other stuff ?
like .. i mean, where do they find images that will fit a 100x100 icon?

Well, images are not often that small. People resize it to a smaller size and possibly crop it to make it 100x100. You can get images at google, yahoo images, getty-images, and for celebs, their own website (like jessicasimpson.com). There are stock photo images you can use that are in the big book of rescources.
