do you guys think its "slutish" (as my mom says) to wear shorts and a tube top when going out with your friends?

Depends on how short the shorts & tube top are I guess but I only wear tube tops and such when I'm on vacation. Otherwise I think it looks kind of trashy.

I pretty much agree with everyone--if its really hot outside, then its ok and understable otherwise..match the tube top with jeans or something...too much skin will make you look not decent.

Yes and no. Like other people said, when it's hot - no, it's fine I guess. Or on the beach it would be acceptable. But, if I saw you in a mall or a restaurant I might perceive you a little differently.

While I personally do not like tube tops or shorts, as long as the shorts aren't too short, and the tube top isn't way too small, it's basically like wearing a tank top minus the straps.

And yes, it should be hot outside, otherwise the slutty vibe is totally achieved.

I mean if you can see your azz and ur boobs are hanging out and most of ur stomach is flashing, then yes, but why wear that? just wear something that looks nicer, so yes, slutty, well, not calling anyone who wears that a slut, but i wouldn't think they were, but ya know.

based on the weather. i dress like that when i work in my parent company. its hot in there and is like twice the temperature outside !! no ac guys. but mine is like regular shorts and a tank top. not short shortss. they'll kill me if they found me wearing that !! they yelled at me when i wore a skirt on a 70 degree weather.
