I run because it keep me in shape, give me a flat stomach, makes me feel good about myself, lets off steam when you're mad or upset, running is like an addiction, it's my outlet for everything, can't survive without a daily run, and it has to be outside, I just can't run on a treadmill...ewww
Oh and I run distance, like cross country.

well, at first, i hated running. until my teacher asked me if i wanted to try out for track. i hated that at first too, but its my passion now. and without doing it that once, id still be getting miles in the 9:00 range. I'm distance, so its really paid off.

I run because I like it, and like people have said it's a good way to let off steam and just run. I run cross-country, indoor and outdoor track for school. I love the team, we're so close, we're almost like family.

I'm going to edit the topic title from "runnerz" to "runners" with an "s", like how it should be. It'll be easier for people to search that way.
Anyway, I was in a junior marathon in 6th grade. Now? I run a mile twice a week as part of my exercise regiment.

we had a XC running group thing but it wasnt successful since there were so little people in the older grades and so many in the younger grades. There was a competition but all our schools top runners didnt join. As for me, I did try running once, but was too painful for me.

lol I really got hooked on running when i started doing soccer. Especially when i got into soccer in highschool, my coach would make us run everywhere. But when i got home i would still run an extra mile. So even after soccer was over, i'd still run alot. Running outside is so much better then a treadmill...man i get so bored on treadmills. Now, i run off and on..and not nearly as much as i did before. But maybe i'll get back up to that. cuz i did like how skinny i was when i would run alot :) so that was the main reason: weight loss, soccer, and you just feel better after running :)
