1-there are many topics on braces
2-this shouldn't be in relationships
3-braces hurt A LOT especiially if they use that thing that drags your teeth together
4-You can't eat anything hard or you braces could break off
5-if you are going to eat a apple, you have to cut it into small pieces
6-yeah and you might wanna bring a toothbrush, sometimes food gets stuck on your braces..and you do not want to go public like that

Whoa, why is this topc in relationships? blink.gif
My friend had her braces color changed recently to purple. And it's really pretty.
And light blue is nice, too.

I used to have braces:

does it hurt when ya have braces?
It hurts for about the first few days because the wires pull ur teeth, but then the pain eventually goes away because ur teeth get used to it.

wut could ya not eat?
Well, they say not to eat any hard foods, such as chicken or whatever. Atleast for the first few days..I tried eating chips on the first day and it hurt like hell. So try to eat soup or something for awhile for about the first week. Ur not supposed to eat gum as well..but a whole bunch of people with braces eat gum anyway, I did and my teeth turned out fine.

wut color should i choose?
Um..choose any color u want, but try not to choose black. I say that cuz sometimes the black might look like stains or something on ur teeth lol, atleast that's what I think. I think blue or red look good, or even green/teal.

should i bring the toothbrush they give u around like everywhere?
I don't really get the question, but, um, they should give u like a booklet on how to brush ur teeth. Ur supposed to brush around the braces and not on them, like the teeth parts. It's confusing at first, but they'll probably show u how to brush ur teeth once they put the braces on anyway.

Hope that helped. Oh, and when u get ur braces off, make sure u wear the retainers whenever u can. The retainers are used so that ur teeth can stay in place after the braces are removed. My friend only wore his retainers for the first month and his teeth went crooked again. pinch.gif

Oh wait, now I understood the last question lol. U don't have to bring the toothbrush with u everywhere. Just make sure u brush ur teeth every night so no food builds up in between ur teeth.

I used to; they hurt when you get them tightened. Well... they don't "hurt" but your teeth are just very sore&tender ^_^ so it was weird to eat... I had to mash food with my tongue *arhar.

You can eat anything... but be careful.. it might get stuck in there! >.<

Um. You don't really need to bring the toothbrush everywhere... lol ^_^

its really up to you, but dont choose clear because it will make your teeth look like theyre yellow.
