So when you're walking home or to someplace, which street do you choose, if both get you to the same place at the same time? The sketchy, dirty street that'll be more "interesting," or the safe but boring street?

Hah well I decided to be "fun" and took the sketchy street, but daaaamn that was a bad idea.
I learned my lesson.

personally, i'd rather take a sketchy street, those really neat streets make me uncomfortable...what if they're neat for a reason? like someone just got murdered and they had to clean it up?

I feel out of place on the clean ones...

Some creepy guy started walking next to me and tried to get me to tell him my name but when I said I was "busy cuz I gotta be home" he kept trying to convince me to get in his car parked down the street "becuz it'll be faster." And he wouldn't leave me alone and kept "accidentally" falling into me, I turned the corner and ran. Hahaha...
But it was scaryyy.

It was also the street that my guy friend claimed he was almost raped on, so I should really stay away from it...

umm...i'd always take the safe street. i'm very very paranoid. i always feel like someone is watching/following me.

i'd probably take the sketchy street. I take a shortcut to get home, and its near a neighborhood. So the shortcut is in the woods, and when im walking i always see needles. Hehe, someone's getting high in those woods

I would say the sketchy street, only if its in a neighborhood that Im familiar with. Last time I took the sketchy street when I was in downtown Oakland at like 9 o'clock at night.........and lets just say that I learned my lesson.

Last time I went on a sketcy street, this guy in a black cloak kept following my friend and I around. I'd stick with the boring, safe road.

i think the question should've been, are you dumb or do you want to stay safe? always choose the safe one. i'm deff. one not to take risks. i would never travel alone at nite either. hmm maybe its cuz i live in a big city, but i at least have my street smarts cut out for me.

We used to have a person like that on our street. He didn't really have a name. We also had an ex-convict living across the street from us.

A safe street, I guess. I don't think I have much of a choice; in my town, there aren't many sketchy streets to choose from. In San Jose, there are a LOT, though.
