I played the drums in high school marching band, and it definitely made band camp, football games, and parades much more exciting.

I've been drumming since I could lay my hands on pots && cooking spoons. =] I started drumming for school band in 5th grade, I played all different percussion instruments. I decided not to join my new school's band in 7th because I was afraid I couldn't fit in. >__< && now I'm about to join again, but I'd really like to play the set, but I need lessons. I don't know where I'd get lessons, so yeah.

I love drumming, it brings something new, there are too many people interested in playing the guitar nowadays.
