i hate this show...
i only like the very first few episodes.. during the auditons.. to me.. thats the only really funny part of the show.. everything else, i'm not really interested in..
i watched the auditions for the second season, they were so funny. but other than that, i've only seen one episode out of all three seasons. i really don't quite get why the show is so fricking popular. i mean, seriously. i guess it's kinda like Survivor. i hate that show. but anyways, i actually like Simon. he tears peole apart when they deserve it, and doesn't sugar-coat anything.
ugh i hate that show so much, its annoyin, cuz lyk we ALL noe that tha winners will b washed up in a yr lyk tha othas that have been "discovered" on tv ex: o-town, those popstars, i noe theres more but even I forgot bout them lol, kelly clarkson is almost gone n da band will b too sumday
In my oppinion, its extremely annoying, and it bores me.
i never have watched it....it always seemed incredibly annoying to me. ugh. i can so do without it

Man, I am so HEATED right now about that. OMG... my top 3 was in the bottom 3. This is a damn conspiracy.

lol. the 1st and 2nd season was good, but to me 3rd season is getting old. It's getting olddddddddd!

has anyone seen "gimme the mike houston"? its such a copycat of american idol, except that the stage is suckier and all the judges are so nice! i like american idol, but i dont LOVE it...i just like to know who got kicked off so i dont have to watch it.
they try to drag these shows out for as long as they can to see how much ratings=money the networks can get. i don't like american idol. the first season was okay i guess. (never watched it) but now it's just old news... 
heard it was borin` hehe... but... i wana see it.. sigh i missed the william hung's show hahahaha

i still like it even though if it is getting old. but i want Jasmine to win this season if anyone knows who that is
i like it but i think the ford things are pretty annoying.

Producer Mike Fleiss, whose credits include “Who Wants to Marry a Multimillionaire” and “The Bachelor” series, created the show.
“These people believe they’re the next pop superstar, even though they’re horrible singers,” Fleiss told the trade paper Daily Variety. He called the show “a bizarro version of ‘American Idol.”’
When auditions were held in Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Orlando, Fla., and Philadelphia, the best singers were told they weren’t right for the show, the WB said.
A dozen “uniquely talented” performers were picked to get dance and singing lessons and the chance to compete for a “talent and recording deal” the network valued at $100,000.
“This is a genre that is ripe for parody,” Jordan Levin, the WB’s chief executive officer, said Thursday. In the end, he said, viewers will be “won over by our superstar.”
The talent contest re-emerged as a hot TV genre with “American Idol,” which has been a ratings winner for Fox. It produced its own anti-star, William Hung, whose inept singing and dancing have gained him a measure of fame.

i saw like a few minutes... never watched it since. it doesn't really interest me. and the winners get worse every season, to me. kelly clarkson's the only real successful one
I'm not watching it as much as I did last season for some reason.

Okay I don't agree with ANY of that! And Kelly Clarkson is NOT almost gone.
