Okay, I really need help. For quite some time now, my hair has just been constantly falling out. Like when I get out of the shower, I would brush my hair and all this hair would end up on the brush. I don't comb it when it's wet anymore and it's still falling out. I would just run my fingers through my hair and BAM; there's a whole load of hair in my hands.
My friends say it's just a phase and it'll go away soon, but it's been going on for awhile..about 9 months? I was just wondering if I'm doing something wrong with my hair or what could be the problem. Oh, don't worry..I don't have bald spots or anything...

Please help.

My sister had the SAME EXACT problem and she's 9, so it's obviously not her age. Hmm, do you have dandruff? My sister did and she used T-Gel and the hair loss stopped. Sometimes dandruff could be the cause for hair loss. I don't know, ask your doctor.

It could be the shampoo you're using, or major stress. Also, if you've done hair treatments, such as straight perm, dyeing, etc, that can also lead to hair loss. Certain medications can screw with your hormones, doing that too. Next time you go for a checkup, just mention it to your doctor, and see what he/she says. Of course, if you're losing a massive amount of hair...i'd go see a doctor right away.

I kind of have the same thing...I've always lost a lot of hair like when i comb it or bursh it. I asked my hairdresser about it and she said it just depends a lot on your hair type and not to worry about it unless you have bald spots or something. Your hair replaces itself fast. Don't worry about it.

Combing your hair when it's wet would make you lose more hair because your hair is kind of "fragile" and smoother that time.
Try combing it when it is almost dry, less hair would fall out then.
