Hrm.. Adobe photoshop elements would be a useful tool.. I wanna try PSP for once though. I would give you 7.0 but I don't know how.. If you have Kazaa Lite you can download it off there.. Off a person named anim[eve] haha :D (I think that's my user name.. I'd give you the serial and everything.)

Errr.. The striped thingies look like the marquee tool. Does deselecting do anything?

Edit// Oh yeah, when you're done typing.. just push the Enter key. Haha sorry I'm just randomly suggesting things..

Hmm...Did you try making a new selection? blink.gif

It sometimes happen to me if I open a .gif file and start typing, it will turn pink, but if I open that .psp file, it never happen tho.

ya, looks like a mask,

but how ya get rid of it??? does anyone hab photoshop elements???!?!? ACKKK *pulls every hair* lols

When you use the type tool, everything turns pink.
You are either in Index color mode, or you have selected the type mask tool by mistake. To find color mode, see Image > Mode. To select the proper type tool, see the type tool’s options bar. The type mask tool is the dotted line icon. You want the solid line icon.

wat does this mean? type tool's option bar...where?!?!?! ACKKK

goto your layers window....click that layers tab (if its a mask ur lookin at, the mask tab would be up)

Im not sure, but is the default thingy for text coming out as a selection? and if so, can you change it?
