Full Version: bump on my toungue
do you ever get one of those bumps on your toungue where it like hurts to touch it? lol i had one the other day so i thought i'd ask.

yeah, I know what you're talking about. i hate it so much. but it goes away after a day.

yeah i had a big one that it was hard to drink warm drinks. it was because when i bit my tongue real hard -_-;;

i actually don't think that is what it is because a canker sore is pretty much a puss filled ulcer. i actually think what she is talking about is called an inflamed tastebud.

You get those the same way you get a stomach ulcer. A stomach ulcer is simply acid that went into a wound on the stomach or burn the stomach.
When you get it in your mouth, you get it from an acid (anything spicy or sour) that just reached a cut,wound, or just burned through your skin slightly.

YES! Back in the days of 8th grade when chewing as mnay pieces of big red was cool, I chewed like 6 packs at once and my tounge had all those bumps and i couldnt eat!

Yeah, it happens when too much bacteria gets in your mouth, I think. I get it sometimes, but it goes away quickly.
yeah. i was eating a warhead one day .. and i bit it.. and the end of the warhead was sharp.. and it cut meh tongue/tounge. hurt.
Yeah. i got a bumb on the side on my tongue. When i drink/eat something sour, it makes it feel worse.

mhmm..i've had such a thing happen to me before...i got an infection in one of my taste buds...and it blistered, and then i had this hole type thing in my tongue for awhile. jeez it hurt. but there other types of bumps on tongues too...so i wouldn't worry too much about it...it should go away eventually.

its just a tongue sore it will go but its soo annoying. i had them a couple of times.
