your only 14 jeez. i didnt get my first cell until i was a junior -_-
well, when i was your age, i already had a cell phone. but the thing is, my parents thought that i needed one just in case of an emergency. and they are right, what if somthing happeneds and you need a phone to call someone. maybe you should run that by them.
I just got one at the beginning of summer (I am 14, but I'll be 15 in like, 2 weeks). The only reason why my parents allowed me to have one because I'm going to need one with highschool starting in September. Otherwise, my dad would never let me have one.

i got one sophomore year, and it was only because my parents were paranoid abt me flying by myself...i envied those people who had cell phones at 14...ur parents will prob give u one when u start driving or something like that for emergency purposes...

I don't have one either. I don't think I'll get one any time soon. A phone is supposed to be a convenience, not a leash. I'm probably one of the few people who doesn't like talking on the phone.
i think mostly girls have cellphones `cause guys don`t really talk that much on the phone.
haha i kept pestering my parents for one and im in 9th grade. yea well i was the only one out of my friends that didnt have a cell phone. so 1st i felt left out kinda. like somethings wrong with me. second cuz i really need to call my parents and stuff and i always borrow my friends cells. but dont worry about it. its not that big of a deal. for me its cooler cuz i got mp3 player capabilities and a whole bunch.

i have one but it kinda sucks. no web / no camera. and i have ot share it with my mom. better than nothing.

i think when you become a freshman its a necessity. so your 14 i guess you should have one.
they came out with a new phone for younger kids. its like for really young kids, its called firefly. and it has icons for mom and dad. but you cant call anyone else, just mom and dad.

i dont have one... my PARENTS dont even have one!

i got my first cell phone when i was a freshman in high school (15ish) ..it was a LG by sprint
i want one..but to be honest i don't really need it because whenever i go out i just bring my mom's cellphone. i think im getting one for my birthday though becasue i'm gunna need one this year for high school.
well eberyone at my old skool now has 1.cuz its a wanna be skool.And my new skool everyone in gets one sometime but no one uses them in skool until skool is OVER!for the day atleast

I'm supposed to be getting a prepaid one from Cingular, because we can't afford a plan...We're poor folks. Especially now that the gas prices are skyhigh....
