Are you guys taking summer classes this year? I am. Not because I failed a class, but to earn credits for high school.

What is your purpose for going ( if you are), and what classes are you taking?

I'm taking Life Skills.

mine ended last friday. i took pe/health. the worse teacher in the world!! at least that's over with!

I'm taking Math 10.

Brainwashing functions and relations into your head on a daily basis surely isn't healthy, let me tell you that.

Im taking Precalculus at a community college. Next week is my last week. I failed th class and thats why Im taking it there.

I was taking a health class during June because I wanted to take it before my ninth grade year started. It is a required class, but I wanted to get it out of the way now so I could take more classes that I would enjoy during the school year.

I was also retaking the second semester of algebra one this month, but had to drop it for personal reasons. I guess I'll either retake that semester again this upcoming school year or next summer, but either way, I'm getting caught up again so I can be in the honors math classes again instead of the standard ones.

I took gym for a half credit so i don't have to take it this year. Works out pretty well.

i don't have summer school anymore, the first time went i HATED it, it was soooo boring so i never went since then

I was going to take P.E for ninth grade, but since my high school was doing construction, the closest high school was filled, so i ended up not going..

i took driver's ed last year. it counted as 1/4 of a credit. everything is either 1/2 or 1 credit, so 1/4 of a credit pretty much did nothing for me.
oh well, i least i know how to drive. kinda...

I was, after not going to school for nearly a year [went a semester, barely, and missed the next] I failed a whole year.
signed up a week late, went for a week, then stopped going, I couldn't handle it.
I was in the same classes I was last year [CAHSEE] California High School Exit Exam..supposed to help..

Oh yah, I did that already :) It ended right before July tho, and it was for College credits too. um, the class was Midwestern Civ. lol, kinda boring...lol i'm glad it's over. Next year, i'm taking a fun class over the summer like art or somethan lol

I wanted to take Summer School for Health or Speech because I want to get that credit out of the way, but I didn't sign up in time. Maybe next summer...

There's a lot of courses you can't do in summer school where I am... I just finished Biology. I didn't like it at all, so it was good to get out of the way.
