I really don't know where to put this...I was thinking about programming, but I wasn't sure..so..feel free to move this topic..

Well, on aim, when I type something, the font is small, but when I press enter, the font becomes all big...is there a way I can fix this??? Because it's really starting to bugg me. I have tried fiddling around with the font size, and I put the size at 10, but when I chat, and press enter, the font becomes like..size 14...

Can anyone help?

there's something about a percentage when you go to the preferences. have you tried changing that?

hmmm dats wierd..... try pressin the AV on the toolbar thing above where u type next to font color and window color... i duno

i changed the percentage to 75% and then 100%, but it's still the same

Has this happened to you for several days now? You can try reinstalling it.

^I have..it looks normal for about 2 days, then it goes back to that large font thingy...

um, try going under Preferences and then click FONT., hit font again, and check out the text size and magnification :) see if that works :)

you would want to make it as small as you can, like at 75.

Its not like AIM is worth the trouble. Buy anyway, ok well I found it, go to preferences, then to FONT, and where it says TEXT MAGNIFICATION you can fix it there. Put it at 100% for it to be normal size.

Corrupt registry key, maybe? I don't know how comfortable you are with the registry, but here's the location of the font size key:

HKCU\Software\AOL Instant Messenger ™\CurrentVersion\Users\<yourAIMusername>\IM\FontSize

run like a virus scan or adware or spyware because those things can harm your computer.
