Why don't you try bleaching the hair? You can't even tell it's there when you do that.

it's not really hair.. it's more like fuzz. lol. well atleast compared to some guys. shaving stomach hair would be kind of pointless. no on really notices in the first place, right?

um yeah i just shave it when it's noticable lol or try to because i think it's pretty unnatractive. i was born with all this unwanted hair

im lazy and i don't feel like buying waxing stuff and what not. i heard waxing hurts sometime too

but i think if u feel like removing it, to just shave it whenever ur going to the pool or yeah having to show ur stomach?

I have more of a fuzz than anything, but my friend who really hates having body hair (she has like none of it in the first place) so she shaves it, it doesn't grow much so it doesn't matter

one word:

Jul 18 2005, 02:40 PM
sure, we don't shave our whole bodies, but some people wax their whole bodies. It's all a matter of preference

Jul 18 2005, 02:44 PM

umm..what's bleach???
My hair isn't really noticable, and I haven't shaved...I've only tried shaving, but never waxing.....and, is like, bleaching the same as waxing? i'm just wondering, and does it hurt??? my stomach hair isn't noticable, but i just feel like it is, so i want to know a good way to remove it too..
so..what's bleaching?

Jul 18 2005, 03:26 PM
^ bleaching makes the hair a blonde-ish color so you cant notice it.
SandRAWRz
Jul 18 2005, 03:29 PM
you can only see it if you look at it really close...and i don't want it to grow thicker so i don't do anything to it

Just bleach it. So you don't damage your skin by waxing or shaving, but no one can see the hair.

I have very fine, brown hair all over my abdomen.
I waxed it for a while but now I've started epilating but the epilating has scarred my stomach a bit.
3/4 of girls at my highschool had it: most of them were lucky because the hair was so fair that it was invisible.

Dang, old thread. Dang Steph, bleaching your stomach? Hurts as is when it falls out of the hair or drips onto your shoulders etc.

I do. Mines like not even visable but I just dont like hair. And it doesnt actually grow back thicker.
I have but it's really light. You could barely notice it unless your sticking your nose in it. I wouldn't recommend shaving just because it might get worse.

Ahhh I hate having hair there. I naturally have dark, thick hair, so of course its hairy.

Happy trail! I don't really do anything to it as it's natural and not really unattractive or anything, so yeah. Unless you're like a freaking gorilla or something, I'd advise against shaving/waxing it.

Goddamnit. Does noone know anything about shaving?
Shaving does not make hair thicker/darker/coarser whatever.
You want to shave it? Shave it. Do that is not going to make it worse.

I had a friend who shaved it and when I hugged her it was really prickly.

Yackie.

Shaving only makes the hair look thicker because the tip of it is blunt, as opposed to a natural hair which is tapered to a point.
I have visible hair there, since my hair is dark and kind of thick. I wish I could just bleach my whole body but that doesn't sound very healthy...
Go to a salon/spa and see what options there are.
