Your options: bleach it, wax it, shave it, or pluck it.
I suggest bleaching it.

Jul 18 2005, 08:40 AM
Don't shave it whatever you do, because you will have those bumps and really look like a guy. Bleach or waxing is best =]. best of luck!

i heard a long time ago that 90% of women wax their upper lip and the other 10% shave it.
i think bleaching would be kind of hard, wouldnt it get on your skin and make it stand out even more?
teeners4
Jul 18 2005, 01:29 PM
i have that too! except its not noticable cause im super duper tanned

haha i want to bleach it, but it would stand out EVEN more. so i suggest waxing, DONT shave it.

Jul 18 2005, 01:39 PM

they sell facial bleaching kits. I use one but ehhh... I guess it works okay. You can still kinda see it but i guess it depends on your skin tone

Yea, don't shave it whatever you do. Bleach or wax. I would wax, but it's kinda painful, espeically the first couple times.

if you wax it, does it start to grow back thicker?
_suzie_
Jul 18 2005, 02:40 PM
DONT WAX OR SHAVE IT AT ALL!!!
its hardly noticeable and you're pretty. shaving it would make it grow back darker and darker
if you're still worried just go to Boots or whateer and buy the bleaching cream, i know loadsa people who do it. they dont need it tho, htey just think they do.
mai_z
Jul 18 2005, 02:43 PM
shaving doesn't make it darker, however the angle does make it more noticable. Waxing doesn't make it any darker, it actually starts to thin if you do it regularly for a long period of time.
xxslithr0atxx

lol thanks suzie. what's... "boots" lol.. ive never heard of that?

Bleach is bad for your skin. Period. Wax or shave it and it'll be fine. I have "fuzz" on my upper lip too and I just shave it (I have blonde hair though.) Shaved hair grows back at an angle and has a blunt point from being shaved so it can have the appearence of being darker or thicker. I strongly don't recommend bleach. Bleach the household product is hazardous and why spend $15 on a hair bleaching kit? Once it's mixed, it has to be used within several hours. Waxing would last longer but I don't have the money or the luxury =) You could also try lotion hair removers such as Nair but I don't find that they work all that well.

I suggest you wax it, it's like whaa? 7 dollars and when it starts to grow back and you can't go to the waxing place, jus shave it.

I sometimes shave it...as long as you see it when it starts growing backk all you have to do is shave it again!!..I have the same problem..I might try the waxing but I would have to do it ova the weekend cause my friend got her eyebrows waxed & I could totally notice that she got it done..

do NOT shave it. it will turn out prickly and dark.
get it THREADED...
its the best way cause it even removes the tiniest and it will grow back slower and thinner.
PLUCKING IT is another good option.
who cares if people notice, as long as you feel good about yourself.

Errr...I have the same problem...
I've gotten tanner, so it's not as noticeable...and people in other countries (besides the U.S.) really don't give a phuck. Honestly. Have a mustache and they'll still find your face cute...^0^ So nice!
Nair works, and your hair will regrow back within a week or so, but don't leave the Nair on for too long...actually, you're not supposed to use Nair for your face anyway...but don't listen to the bottle...listen to ~EXPERIENCE~...if you leave Nair on for MORE than 4-5 minutes, it'll start to burn, and the next day, if you touch/rub your upper lip area, it'll start being pricky...;_; So be careful~~!
Waxing is hard for the small hairs, and some times you have to PLUCK it out...I haven't tried threading before, though. Heard it hurts like hell the first time, but you get used to the pain, just like you do with waxing...
Don't shave. Period.

I have that problem... if I did anything, I'd probably bleach it.
I suggest you wax it, though, just to be safe, since you're kind of a tan/darker skin tone, it might stand out more.
I'm, like, Edward Scissorhands pale, though, and I have very dark brown hair. lol

^ no it wont it'll grow back the same, but since you waxed the hair off it'll probably grow back in a month. so it only lasts like a month.

[/random] I have a small visible mustache as well and im a girl. I don't really care about it, everyone has it some more than other. It all falls out when your older
uhhmm; you could go to a nail salon or spa and like get it like waxed off.. of you could get someone to pluck it out for you. Or shave it like guys do.

get the facial hair [wherever it is on your face] waxed. yes it might be painful but it is a good way to get rid of it for a few days/weeks. it shouldn't cost that much, maybe 10.00 depending where you go. you could try to shave it but you could always cut your face and have weird cuts all over.
