this guy that i like is really nice to me, and seems to try to make me laugh, we hang out sometimes after school, he talks to me [ie I dont have to start the conversation, he'll just come up and start talking], he smiles at me or stares... but then sometimes he just treats me like one of the guys. does he think of me as just a friend?

If he treats you like one of the guys, it's most likely because he doesn't know how you feel. Who knows, maybe he has feelings for you and he's too shy to show them too? One of you has to break the ice... at this point that person should be you.

do you give each other hugs when you leave?

do you casually touch him?

watch a scary movie together and if you're into that.. see if he'll let you get close enough to be leaning against him. just lil things like that.

drop your pencil, bend over, and when you get back up see if he smiles or has a weird look on his face.

ive written him a note but i havent given it to him, there is no way i could ask him in person. im too much of a pansy , but a note seems like the way to go. at least ill find out for sure.
