wsup fam. This is my newest track that I did with my homie k wize. produced by sho down of rock-it productions, the beat is ill. My personal thoughts on this song, k wize came sick with it, like i knew he would. he had some dope lyrics, his flow was definately on point. unfortunately, my flow isnt as polished as his is. Oh well. practice makes perfect right? Anyway drop ya thoughts please =o) stop sleepin on meeee

*About the song:
I began writing this song in Novemeber but I didn't record it until May due to bus schedules and what not. This track is more of a "part 2" than a "remix" to the original "Meh" track which was released in may of 04. It's about the continuing struggle of losing someone that you love and what have you. I feel this is one of my deepest tracks. Thanks for reading and listening. Much love.

Don't be jealous that he's better than Jason. He has better effects of the beat and did NOT do this over the comp.
Good job kid.

Thanks for the feedback homie. good looks. but I still think k wize came tighter, i fell off a few times here and there
Thanks for the replies guys.
^ and actually, I did do this over the computer. I have a home studio that I have invetsted $5000 into.

Well, you have a studio. Jason just has a mic. A computer one with the price of about $10. You? $5,000.

^ well, I call it a home studio...its actually just a mic with acc. (ie: pop filter, stand) with headphones and a computer with a soundcard/pre amp
and a drum set but i dont use it for recording as of this moment....and honestly, equipment doesnt mean your tracks will suck, if you have a decent mic (when i say decent, i mean any mic other then like a ghetto ass webcam mic) and good mixing skills, you can make your quality better than mine. I know cats that have a $10 radio shack mic that make dope ass tracks and rip the motherf**ker. if you got the skills as an emcee and the know how of mixing decently, you got it locked it, but it is easier to do with nice equipment.

^ yea that was me, hence the reason I said my flow was not as polished as k wize. he's more consistent when it comes to staying on point. but good looks homie, thanks for the feedback.
yea the mixing on my part wasnt too great, i need some monitors cause these comp speakers just dont cut it.

Did you mix listening through your headphones or your computer speakers---Because if you mix using your headphones to listen to your song, i promise it will help. You usually hear when things go wrong over headphones. If you have a program monitor that says when your stuff is distorting (i think you can probably download a free program that monitors distortion but I'll have to PM you the link if i can find one) then it will help you mix too.
I liked it alot actually. Good job. That's my two cents though.
My mom owns a recording studio. She taught me a little bit about Pro Tools software, mics, and recording so I can edit my sound to video better.

I might be able to help you out a lil bit.

^ nice, thanks for the feedback. Actually I do mix with headphones and computer speakers but the truth is, you will never get a good sound unless you have some clean studio monitors to work with. What may sound good on monitoring headphones will not suffice for car stereos and what not. But with monitors, they are very accurate. I'm saving to buy some nice krk's but as of this moment I'm sort of broke lol

^ yeah my mom mixes with theater sound level or whatever...Like at the volume of what a soundtrack would be in a theater, but you have to have good ones for that. But that's the level you should mix at i think?? yeah. It's just really LOUD.

At first I didn't like it , but after listening to it for a second time I started to feel it. Most songs have to grow on me anyway.
Good Job

nah don't trip, thanks for the honesty. I know I gotta polish my flow. I've only been in the game for 2 years, I got a long ways to go. I know I'm not gonna get love from everyone. I expect some constructive criticism, maybe you can tell me more? liek waht didn't you like about it and etc. but yea, thanks to everyone else who liked it as well. peace
