No, not really. It's just really obvious. Maybe it's just the makeup/lighting, but it really shows up.

She looks sort of...awkward and uncomfortable, which isn't that big of a deal for someone her age (she's what, 15-16 this year?) so she's just getting used to her own skin. And loads of people are getting braces even as adults (Gwen Stefani, Tom Cruise, that guy from Nsync, if you remember).

I was gonna say maybe it was for the fourth movie where she magically straightened her teeth for the ball, but then I realized it's a little late for that since they're probably pretty far into the filming by now, or even already done filming.
