The forum I linked you to was for livejournals skins, hence the reason you could not create a new thread. Now instead of creating another thread since this is now in livejournal help, why don't you just ask for what you need? :]

What he/she is asking for has nothing to do with coding.

A few years back, livejournal required a code to be entered in order to create a new livejournal. It has since been removed, and allows open registration.

Deadjournal, however, has now implemented that feature with their journals.

What they're doing, is similar to gmail invites, except they use alpa/numerical codes as their "invites."

in order to create a deadjournal u need a code: www.deadjournal.com try and make one and youll see what i mean

Again, I repeat: We do not have Deadjournal codes.

You will have to find a deadjournal user/community that would be willing to give out codes so that you can create a new account.

Ooh, sorry about the misunderstanding and everything. Jordan, I knew those "codes" as "invites" back when they were on livejournal, and I wasn't aware that deadjournal had implemented the system. :x
