i'll admit, i've seen the lyrics, and they're pretty decent. But, come on, seriously, the delivery is awful. I'm mean, half he's time he's saying "uh, yeah".

well to be honest, I don't understand why, if you really love it, you would give it up after school. I mean, yeah, your lyrics totally don't flow with the track, and the things you rap about are totally unbeleiveable, but if you enjoy it, don't stop. And the track is hot. I must say tho, you are lucky to have people who want to help you out when you are so young. When I told people I wanted to be a singer when I was 13, they told me to get a real carreer. No one helped me or anything. So take advantage of that. And um...you might wanna work on rappin with a metronome so you are actually on beat.

Jul 5 2005, 01:58 PM
what, like one of those disney actir-gone-singer ppl. Well, they are way worse than him, i'll give him that. And its not even like the whole track his bad. THe music is nice, the lyrics are interestingly good, but the delivery is meh. I mean, I'm no rapper, but I know a thing or two about putting passion into what you do. THis guy sounds like he has no passion. He's like a drone just rappin' and just let the words flood out of him with no soul behind them. I mean, if he's talking about other rappers being shit and stuff, he has to expect that kinda criticism, especially if he's putting stuff out like that.

the kind of response needed is constructive critisism. Telling him he sucks doesnt do much. telling him he sucks because his lyrics are unbeliveable and you cant understand him, helps him make improvements.

DrSMooTH
Jul 5 2005, 02:16 PM
its not like he's all bad. I was just telling it how I heard it. But lemme get the facts that have been said by different members:
1. Step away from the mic at times so you're more audible. Other times step to the mic because you're too quiet.
2. More expression
3. Outrageous lyrics - need some improvement: "try talking about things that normal 13 year olds go through"[karamelle]
[karamelle] 4. Needs to target audience within his age range
[basick] 5. Human crack in flesh?
[natE.A]6. Get more experience and get some years under your belt before recording again (diluted version)
Did I miss anything? Basically, he's on his way, he's just not there yet.

Jul 5 2005, 02:19 PM
try talking about things that normal 13 year olds go through. I mean, the entire idea of making money off of music is appealing to the right audience. Right now, any target audience that you COULD sell to, you won't sell to because your lyrics don't target them. The main people who buy music are 13 to 21. That is your audience. You are talking about things that only older people know about, but since you are son young, they won't take you seriously. so tone your message down a notch, and try to appeal to your age group. They are the ones who are gonna buy.

I actually commend Jason for having the courage to try when so many others would not be willing to do the same. Once Again Good Job Kangsta.

The best way to get the best sound off your mic is to take your bottom lip off of it and back up and speak up a little. You seriously remind me of fabolous and he's a shitty rapper to begin with. I bet you spent a lot of f**king time on your lyrics... but, they really could've been better. Do you know what I should do? I should record your song over for you and you'll see how you're supposed to be doing it. Damn, someone... hand over the instrumental. I don't even listen to rap... and I know that the song you're putting out is weak. You really need to rethink your profession... I'm being serious here, as well. You're what? 12? 13?... talking about f**king girls... and some shit about a club. You're not even old enough to go to a teen nightclub. How about we be a little realistic, people? I can rip it better and it's not even my style. Hah. Pitiful.
