is there a site where u can download licensed animes? like chobits, marmalade boy, and others? i tried googling, but they only list un-licensed ones...why do they do this? is it illigal or not? Do you download them?

actually, downloading licensed as well as unlicensed anime are both illegal. however, fansubbers feel that subbing and releasing unlicensed shows are ethically OK, so yea.

anyways, a site where you can download licensed anime...i know some, but I don't want to support illegal activity. You should search "harder" by using different terms on google, because i've found plenty of licensed ones there. or better yet...buy or rent if you're in a financial crisis.

Hmm hope I don't get spanked for this but... a site actually have licensed animes. But you can't download episode by episode but rather by packs. anyways if you want a direct link to their site PM me and I'll give it to you. Don't want to just leave the link here =P.

there's also mininova.org, but it's only bittorrent. if you put some of the more popular ones in google [like fma :)], some sites will come up.

i don`t know it if it`s licensed or not.. i download it anyway. lol plus, it`s not like i`m gonna re-distribute it for money.

Yeah but its also that its just like buying pirated movies or downloading illegal songs through p2p.. Basically Licensed anime is the same =P. Although your able to download it and stuff. The subbers who have respect for the companies actually Sub it until it is licensed. And then from there they tell you guys to actually support the anime since you got freebies =P.
