I was watching an interview and if you've seen the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's, you'll know what I'm talking about.

Mariah Carey mentioned that she would be producing and starring as Holly Golightly in the remake of the 1961 film, Breakfast at Tiffany's. She said it was her favorite movie and that her dream would be fulfilled if she could sing and dance in the movie.

Is it just me, or is this a really bad idea? I mean, Glitter flopped. Mariah obviously isn't that great of an actress.



This is like when they announced Julia Roberts is playing Marilyn Monroe in one of her upcoming films.

Okay, I've never seen Breakfast at Tiffany's but good grief. When I think of Audrey, I think of classic beauty. When I look at Mariah, I think of trashy whorishness. A better pick would be Yoanna House, that is, if she can act. Did you see when she had to imitate Audrey on ANTM? The resemblance was shocking.

Wth? Ok, Mariah needs to stop. Not only does she not look anything like Audrey but she cant act to save her damn life. On a side note, didnt Jennifer Love Hewitt do a mini movie playing as Audrey?

For starters I loved the movie Breakfast At Tiffanys with Audrey Hepburn. It was def one of the best movies ever :) lol. Even though it is one of my favs, i'm kinda disappointed they are making a remake. The oringial was so good, what if they mess this one up? lol. and especially if they cast mariah carey as Holly Golightly? no way. you can never replace Audrey Hepburn with Mariah Carey lol.

That's not a good idea- Audrey Hepburn has such a distinct beauty that really Mariah Carey doesn't match up right.

Just in the way she dresses, which isn't very good to judge on, I know. I'm not knocking her vocal talent.

And I'm not sure how tall Yoanna is. But you have to admit, the resemblence between her and Audrey is amazing.

if mariah carey was in the movie id watch it for her.

umm, there is a very neccesary amount of class needed to play a part audrey hepurn played. I mean, shes imfaous for that role. Thats just like them remaking willy wonka or whatever. It cant succeed because everyone loves the classic so much. Maybe holly wood should work on coming up with NEW ideas. Just a thought. And yeah, you would need to be able to act, and mariah more than proved to us all that she is not capable of that. Besides, I agree, she is trashy at times. Maybe shes no little kim, but that big ol body of hers seems to be bursting out in places is shouldnt. And did anyone see her hour long cribs special? *disgusting*

and Mariah Carey as Audrey Auburn? umm.. no. She acts okay but... NO. I thought she was not that good in the movie, Glitter. So I don't think she deserves the act. We need a better actress for Audrey not someone who is not that much of a great actress like Mariah Carey.

That would've been nice if it was Emmy Rossum because she's young for Audrey's part. Or... Kiera Knightley if she knows how to dance and sing lol.

But Kiera reminds me of Audrey sometimes... because Kiera has that classic face.
