im asian and i have really really dark hair. its almost bluish black. so anyways, i bought a bottle of color pulse yesterday(the purple one) and i dyed my hair today but it didnt show up at all. i see no diffrence and i did everything right. so yeah, im just warning all you asian out there that if your gonna use that stuff, get like two bottles or dont do it at all cuz it might not show up.

maybe you should have bleached it first? that usually works for me.

i know why cuz your hairs already dark so if u dye it it won't really make a difference because if u wanna make it lighter u have to use like a super light or red or a dif color not the same color

Yeah, if you go to the salon, they have special formulas to bleach out the dark color so they can more easily put another color on top. I got my hair highlighted gold and it showed up perfectly.

i dont want it to be permanet though. color pulse only lasts for 8 to 10 shampoos and thats why i got it. i wish i could dye my hair permanetly but i cant so im stuck with the temporary ones and its hard to find a good brand when your hair is freakin dark X_X

well o_O interesting dilemma.. did you try checking it in the light? cause my hair is black but when i look at it when i`m shining light on it looks like a lighter brown instead...
and well since you don`t it to be permanent, bleaching your hair is out of the question...
