one of my friends said its bad to wear the bras with wires too often...

so that led me to wondering... is that true? n if it is, what's so bad about them?

There is nothing wrong or bad about them. Most bras you see at the store are underwire bras which just gives you more support and the padded ones give more cleavage (ie., looks like you have bigger breast when wearing a low shirt). The only bras I wear are underwire as well as my friends and we've never had any problems. A bra is a bra, just get your correct size.

I don't think they do anything 'bad' or whatever.
All I know is, is that they give you a little 'lift'.
But then again. I don't know.

Every bra I own is an underwire... so, I don't believe there's anything bad with it.

It's not good for you if you don't wear them. If you wear a bra w/o the underwire, then your breasts would sag. [Does not look very good, so just wear one.] So, it's better if you wear one because of the added support.

omg..underwirse is the stuff that lifts. It actually gives you the support you need. Your friend totally needs to google that.

...how is it BAD to wear underwires (that is- IF you are referring to the underwires) ..it's better for you cause i provides more support ..esp for women with a bigger chest.. thers nothing wrong w/ them :]

^yeah that's the only problem/bad thing about underwire bras. if you got a cheap one, the wire eventually pokes through the fabric and stabs at your boobie.

all of mine except for one are underwire bras...it makes my boobs look a tad bigger

i dont think its bad,
its bad if you always wear them (to sleep and stuff) but its okay if you just wear them normally through the day and then take them off at night.
just make sure they arent too tight. the right size is good.

agreed. i think you should be fine as you do as the above has said...just relax. i wear them too and its better with the extra support i think and i haven't died yet...

dont worry too much.. the less thinking the less worries.. the less sooner u'll die! hehe..okay .. well lotsa ppl as above wear them and they're okay so just go with it
