ahhh..i'm so excited! war of the worlds came out into theaters yesterday. i've been waiting months to see it. whenever i saw previews for it on TV or at the movies, i always think that it's going to be an awesome movie.

The reviews that I have read on it are mostly bad. I have no interest in seeing it.

I saw it. It was amazing. You all should see it. You can't even tell that the aliens/spaceship/machine/things are computerized. And Tom Cruise = awesome.GO SEE IT!

THIS MOVIE IS FLIPPING AWESOME! definately a must see! a good alien movie. Tom Cruise was great. Dakota, oh she's darling. She should win an oscar. And Robbie. but he was great!

I've heard that it's a really good movie--very well done. I'm interested in seeing it. I'm a big fan of Tom Cruise.

Oh yes, Dakota Fanning was simply amazing. She's so young and you wouldn't think she would be that talented.

War of the Worlds, I saw it yesterday, its AMAZING, the graphics are awesome and I liked it alot alot!
I didnt used to like tom cruise, but now that I've seen that movie I think he is alright, I dont find him attractive though, lol

I'm skipping it; I'm not particularly crazy over the fighting sort of stuff, and reading the other posts in this thread, there's a book. And books > movies. So I might just read it.

I read the book in school, saw the movie yesterday i thought it was good, i read good reviews the lowest i saw it get was three stars. The only con in the movie is that it ended kinda abrubtly, but.... thats how the book ended so you cant be mad at steven. but i still liked it. it was better than book i think. u shouldnt always go by reviews though. thats just a few people opinions out of millions,they can give 5 stars to a horrible movie and 2 stars to a good one. and it can be vice versa on another paper.

and i dont think it made a mochery of humans, cause i think thats exactly what we would do in that situation.

I thought it was pretty cool, the special effects were probobly some of the best i've ever seen. there wasn't too big of a story though, the ending was a bit dry, and they needed more explosions XD

But it was a pretty good movie. Definatly (sp?) worth seeing.

I'm seeing it tonight. Though I'd rather see Bewitched. But hey, it's free so whatever.

I don't know, just from the previews it doesn't look that good to me. And with all the Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes news, the last thing I want to see is a Tom Cruise movie.

I saw it yesterday, and truthfully even though I understood it.. it was not as good as I thought it would be. The ending, was horrible too. The only think I liked about the movie was the special effects - some scenes are really retarded

i think it's soo stupid that people don't like Tom Cruise because of that stupid controversy. It's not our business, it's his personal life. Get over it, he's still a great actor and you shouldn't hold that against him!

they freaked me out too! i was so scared the entire time...espeically when they were hiding from them with that psycho guy.

oh yea. that eye or whatever it was from the aliens were freaky. and that psycho guy was scary. i wanted to see how tom cruise killed him. oh yea and at the end when that big alien or whatever threw up.. that was gross

I'll see that movie if Tom promises to use the cash he earns to get him some GOOD drugs to calm his butt down. Until then I'm not supporting his career. Besides, it wasn't something I was interested. Aliens killing humans is so overrated.

when i can find the time i will definitely try to watch it. not cause of tom cruise but because i like these sort of movies. like day after tomorrow..
