i have to read The Good Earth and Anthem this summer... I absolutely HATE reading! aghh....oh well. have you read either of these? which one is more interesting?

I haven`t read Anthem but The Good Earth was okay. (I say you read Anthem first.)

Hmm, I've never heard of Anthem, but the Good Earth was OK. Read the longer book first!

well, i already started reading The Good Earth. I actually like it. This can be closed, being that my problem is solved (i guess) and nobody is replying.

Anthem...that one was somewhat intresting to me :-)

I have read the Good Earth. That was pretty good actually; i thought it was going to be really boring...but it was so good. I hated the way he ultimately treated his wife tho, but that book was good. If you have to read both of those books, i suggest you start with the good earth. After a few chapters you'll really start to like it. But i mean, i like to read...so maybe i'm the wrong person to ask lol

I read Anthem. Good book, kinda wierd but well written.
