Chris Rock. I like how he can talk about current events and major issues and still be funny at the same time.
MrDolphin
Yeah, chappelle has that voice that just makes u crack up..but when it comes down to straight up stand up comedy, Chris Rock is awesome.
Paradox of Life
Chris Rock. He is HILARIOUS. I loved the SNL episode he hosted. laugh.gif

Yeah he's hilarious when he can talk about current events and major issues. I don't know why it's still is funny. Maybe it's because of the expression he uses. Maybe he has some special talent to make someone laugh just by using his face --- just like Jim Carrey LOL.

But I don't really watch his show.... because I'm not really into those kinda comedians. I'm more into punk'd, wildboyz, and jackass... cause they do it on action lol.

Hmm, that's hard. Probably Chris Rock, though.

There is like two different ways to look at the issue.

As far as Stand up comedy, being in front of an audience on stage Chris Rock without a doubt.

As far as Movies and Shows standpoints I would give the upperhand to Chapelle. I never have really got a good laugh out of any of Rock's movies except for CB4 and The Longest Yard.

As far as being spontaneous I cant decide who is more unpremeditated.
ThePrincessofTKD
chris rock always makes me laugh. plus! i like his movies.
iheartjohn
Dave Chapelle. Chris Rock is funny sometimes, but his ego has inflated.

Yeah, they really are. I don't know...they both specialize in different types of comedy. As in, Chris Rock, as aforementioned, is way better at stand-up. Chappelle's better at physical and slap-stick comedy. Eh. I don't know. I'll pick Dave Chappelle. pinch.gif

chris rockkkk!

I personally find no amusement whatsoever in Dave Chappelle. Maybe I'm just strange. So yeah, Chris Rock, hands down.
Looow
Dave Chapelle isn't very funny to me. So, I go with Chris Rock

I have to agree with both of you. Chris Rock's jokes are actually very funny especially in stand-up. Dave Chapelle is just corny to me. Was I the only one who didn't find that Rick James skit all that humorous? ermm.gif
wayne
i find dave chapelle very funny but i did not laugh at the rick james skit

yummy_delight
Rock. he's the best at stand up and he's HILARIOUS.

not that chappelle isn't, as well. however, as a matter of preference, i'm choosing chris rock.
sm0kinm0nky
chappelle.

Chris Rock is great, but most of his jokes these days are mad racist and not funny.
biglamchops
tough choice...chappelle is a genius at producing skits....his stand up is pretty good too.

rock...he's better at stand up but gets annoying after a while.

I don't know why, but I find that Chapelle is more entertaining.

Hm, yessir.
heyyfrankie
eh. they are pretty much the same but i think that chapelle is just a little bit funnier. laugh.gif

Chris Rock's really funny but I think Dave Chapelle's funnier. I just didn't really understand what they were saying in the Rick James skit, but, yeah, Chapelle's better.
