The second and third LotR movies really can't be considered sequals. Originally, it was one gigantic book, and Tolkien's publishers convinced him to break it up into 3 books because they thought it would sell better.

As for PotC2 ... I've done some snooping around plot wise. They were holding casting calls for young girls 9-12. Rumor is they were looking for 2 girls: one to play Will and Elizabeth's daughter, and another to play the niece of Capt. Sparrow.

Because of this rumor, my mind wanders to the plot of the kids somehow getting kidnapped or something, and Jack, Will and Elizabeth having to team up to find them. The only thing that really threw me for a loop was the fact that Geoffrey Rush signed on to play Barbossa again. Now those of you who have seen the first movie will realize why that's terribly odd.

My friends were trying to get me to at least go to an audition. ( I may be 20, but I can look 13 or 14 with the right clothes, makeup and hair ) I told them it wouldn't be a good idea and I would never get picked because I would keep glomping Orlando and Johnny. ... and when I think about it, having Orlando play my father seems a little off ...
