i wanna get mine pierced...i might be getting it this coming monday...but i dunno how im going to hide it from my mom...i never ever wear belly shirts or short shirts ever but my shirt very often goes aup and a litle of my stomach shows...im just so scared that if she sees it...shell flip out.....i have 4 piercings in my right ear n 3 in my left...i only asked her if i cud get the original bottom 2...my first holes...every other one i did behind her bak and wen she found out she went nuts...but the last one was over a yr ago

if you don't wear a lot of belly shirts, not a lot of people are going to see that you have your belly button pierced..
why don't you wait it out a bit and maybe you'l change your mind, or maybe you can get it pierced once you're 18..

why the hell are you even doing it behind your moms back!? if she doesn't want you to do it then don't. do it when you're 18 so its actually leagal and your mom can't do anything about it except maybe rip it off but maybe that would hurt..a lot... and yeah well ya know what i think? i think we take our parents for granted and what we want we usually get but whatever they want we just ignore it like they're not supposed to get anything but they are our parents and they don't really have to keep us they could throw you into an adoption center or something. you're lucky you still have your mom after you did all those piercings behind her back

A blowout from your mom for a hole in your belly? I think you should just wait. I want a belly piercing too but I'm waiting until I'm like twenty. And if you don't wear midriffs, no one's really gonna see it.

And if it gets infected or something than you need to go to a doctor and he'll probably call your mom. It needs scrupulous [sp] cleaning.

I just got mine done today. It's not noticeable, like through a shirt. If your's comes up often and you'll forget you may want to wait. my dad doesn't know about mine, my mother took me. So, thus, i'm hiding mine, also. no biggie right now, but soon enough he'll figure it out hopefully i'll be 18 by then. if your still scared don't do it.

You wont be able to see it through your shirt. Also Ive found that normally when peoples shirts go up they dont go above their bellybutton so you should be okay.

It doesnt matter what you weigh as long as you arent like really overweight. Plus a little extra chunk on your stomach helps the clamp hurt less (although my piercer didnt clamp me so maybe some dont).

Nope. All you feel is like pressure and a pinch. I hate needles too so I thought it would hurt more but I was wrong. Afterwards it doesnt really hurt much unless you hit it or something rubs it wrong but even then it only hurts for a second.

it hurt like a bitch for only 2 seconds.....then it went away

Slow down. First of all, if you have to hide it from your mother, that's just too much trouble. don't you think she would find out? Second, any place that doesn't care if you're under 18 without parent permission is illegal. That doesn't necessarily mean that it's unsanitary, but why would it be sanitary, if they're not bothering to follow other laws? I think that's completely unsafe. I would rather take a friend's parent to get it done, than to go to a place where they don't care.

lol ..my friend got it about 3 weeks ago.. and she was planning on hiding it from her mom too... butt then she saw it while she was sleeping ...her shirt was up i gues... but then her mom's not strict or anything ..so nothing went wrong.

If I were you.. I wouldn't go and get your belly button pierced behind your mother's back. If you're nervous now on if she ever catches you.. think about how nervous you will be when she does catch you. You'll be in a hell world of trouble . So please.. I suggest you don't.

your mother would kill you... just don't you forget those holes can always heal back up...she could make you take them all out... it's not permenent so just think on that before you go behind her back again.

a girla t work got hers done, well not actually, the needle was half way in, then she fainted.so no button peircing for herrrr

and then her sisters daughter got it done as well.
