I've been colorizing regular pictures, but now I want to try and do a greyscaled picture. I was wondering, how would I make the skin a normal looking color, I've tried adjusting the hue, but it doesn't have the color I'm looking for. If you anyone knows how to, please tell me.

you can change the blending options till you find the right one you want .
and
adjusting hue or saturation does work so you should try using this tutorial:

I suggest these two colors on Color to start as a base.... Then you can play from there.
