I don't believe in love at first sight because love is such a powerful word. When you first see a person, you like their looks but still haven't determined their personality yet, so how can you love them? That's my opinion. As mentioned by For3v3r, people fall in love (not even love, they LIKE) the person's looks. Therefore, that is why I do not believe in love at first sight...wow, this sounds like an essay answer...well kind of. :-D

i don't think there is love at first sight ... you could call it interest at first sight ... or intruigment at first sight, but definitely not love. how many times have we seen someone totally hot, approached them, and realized they were an ass!?!?!!? you really can't fall in love with someone you don't know. my definition of love is caring for a person more than urself for who they are, every little thing good or bad. you can't determine those things by a glance or even a really long stare. hahahah! and if you noticed, the people that usually say "it was love at first sight" usually sighted a verry good looking person, and therefore was very shallow and dumb in thinking it was "love." so no ... there isn't love at first sight ...

I like to believe, or rather do believe in love at first sight. I believe (as farfetched as it sounds) that everyone has someone on Earth that they are destined to be with in their life. Granted, they may not find that person and end up marrying someone else, but there is someone out there. If you do see that person, yeah, it might feel like you're just looking at a normal, everyday hot guy/girl, but you are definitely attracted to them. There are many forms of love...Love grows with love at first sight.

I think that all of you have stated my feelings on it put together.
There could be love, but you'd basically fall in "love" with the way someone looks, not who they are, so it wouldnt' be with the person.
As for the person, you could look at them and think that you "love" them, but later realize how much better (or worse) of a person they are based on personality. So I guess it kidna depends on your outlook on love. Or basically how you define love...

Anything can happen with love... people who were sworn enemies can turn out to be perfect lovers and turn out to be deeply in love... i believe love at first sight is true... but love as a whole is blind

for me, i dont exactly believe in love at first sight, but i beleive that it can happen (does that make sense? ) like, i guess i cant explain it. I would believe it if it happened to me. But, i have mistaken like my first 3 bfs to be love at first sight, so i guess im pretty dulled out if that makes sense as well.

Hmm.. I believe in love at first sight. Except! The word "sight" isn't all that genuine to me. Wouldn't love at first sight mean falling in love with the person's appearance first?
