Do you think that for starting a topic you should get like 5 extra posts on your post count? I think that would be a good idea because you are the person who thought of the topic in which people reply to so they can get some more posts on their post count. That should be one of the bonuses to starting topics, more posts for you...what do you think?

This might belong in the feedback forum, but still...uhm. Post counts...shouldn't matter...yeah...

This belongs in the feedback forum

And I agree with Kathleen...the post count shouldn't really matter.

Making a topic isn't hard enough to recieve a bonus.

I don't think the post count really matter.
unless you are in the borderline of being an official member.
If you get more post count for making topic.
People who are trying to get their post count up to become an office member will make millions of pointless thread.

No. It shouldn't matter, it's just one topic. Think of it as posting one time in another topic with a new start. No need for 5 posts.
Also, sometimes, people make pointless topics. If I got 5 posts for every topic I've created + the posts I have now, I'd have a lot of posts. And some of the posts I've made in the beginning were pretty much.. pointless. So, if someone were to make a duplicate topic or an advertising topic, they'd be getting posts they don't really deserve/should have.

I really don't think we should. A topic is a topic, a post is a post. Why would you need more posts for a topic? The topic starter can always go back into his/her topic and post as long as it's not spam or double posting.

No. That's really unnecessary.

Why should post counts matter? The topic starter can just reply to their topic if they want. It isn't that hard to make a topic, so why should people receive a bonus for making a topic? And yes, there would be a buttload of spam.

No way....It's a nice thought, but if people got 5 extra posts on their post count for making a new topic, then there would be more spam then we already have. And we would go into a whole different dimension of stupid topics lol. It's not about your post count and stuff anyway, lol naw it's fine the way it is
