I dont know. It depends on the people.
If they feel like replying to one than they might, we have no control over that. If they don't, well it's not like we force them.

I think it depends on whether the layout is good or not. I'm pretty sure it does. If you make a topic with an poor quality layout, and another topic with a high quality layout, you will see the results. Or if you look at the topics with the least posts, you can see that the layouts are not of very good quality.

But I usually try to respond the topic with the least posts..

Actually, it seems like no one wants to reply to the skins anymore since CB2... so just keep trying to improve your skins, if it's good enough, there's bound to be people who reply.

Do you mean personal messages or replies from the skin topic? Well I get both. I see a lot of people here did like my Itachi Layout. But then as it disappeared, no one say it and no more feedback.

_jelly_bean_ - hardly anyone comments on the skins now... it's going out of your way to get to the comments page if you're using cb2 sometimes... and it's the same all around. People want to leave comments if a skin really WOWS them. Really, you've got eight skins in the database, you should be proud. I have one. Really, if you want a lot of feedback on it, put it on a tester xanga and put it in the xanga showcase.

But really, I think you're being unreasonable, flipping out on those trying to give you advice here... now I don't think I'd want to go comment on your skins because you might chew me out for no reason if I didn't give rave reviews or something.

I'm guessing Rachel wasn't even judging your skins when she said that, anyway. Someone said you should make your titles more attractive and Rachel just stated that the skins should be more attractive because people will want to comment on nice skins rather than nice titles.

With that, this is your verbal warning for member bashing. Anymore member bashing (NAME CALLING) and you will be warned and/or suspended. That goes for anyone else on this board.

Amen and amen. If you're touchy about this you're going to be in deep when real cB drama crops up. I mean, what did you want us to say to the fact that your showcased skins don't get comments? There's really no way to make your title JUMP out unless it's something really original or those crazy, off topic titles like "lYk o0MgEe, lloL i HaV A sKyN!!11!!!1!" which, by the way, only want to make you see if the skin is as immature as the skinner. I mean, there are a lot of skins in the xanga showcase, either your skin is going to grab people's attention or it's not. Take a look at the skins that do get a lot of comments and see what it is that people like.

But there's sometimes not much you can do to change who looks at your site except maybe to build up a reputation for yourself slowly. I'm sure that's what people like Roxy and Trish and all of those that have awesome skins and a million comments did. And I hate to say it (I'm usually very non-confrontational), but telling more influential members of cB to... what was it again? Oh yeah, f**k off... that's not going to help your reputation any.

So go ahead and leave if you'd like. If this obviously has you all in a tizzy, you're not going to like it when real life drama crops up. So what? If you leave now, it'll be "good riddance." Or you could stay, keep making skins, and slowly build a name for yourself.
