I only read 2 series and I'm a male. Theres no sex in it, so theres nothing to hide. Seeing boys kiss doesn't really bother me, not that I like it, but all you read is the words after that you go onto the next page.
I've read Gravitation & Legal Drug. They are both my cousins (female). My cousin also has rated M books. I don't read those. Now
those has sex. (Passions and etc..)
Are you (^) a female or male? Just wondering, so I wouldn't be the only one.

I have read yaoi fan stories on video game sites. They had no sex in them. I don't find yaoi odd.

Oh, I've read yaoi! I'm more of a shounen-ai fan myself (shounen-ai is almost the same as yaoi- but not as far as yaoi)
yeah and how DO you pronounce yaoi...ME and my yaoi-friend always pronounce it YAY-OY...but knowing our japanese skills that's probably waaay off.
Uhh, and in terms of what I've read-
-Gravitation (Up to volume 8 I think)
-1st. volume of FAKE (any one know a scanulation site for it?)
-Love Mode (on the 5th. volume I think- I lost track)

I'm sort of sadistic, neh? XD

Well I'm a guy and I <3 yaoi

. But that statement also seems to have entailed to the standing fact that I'm also gay. BUT...my entire life I’ve watched innumerable heterosexual relationships evolve in books and movies and it hasn't stopped me from appreciating, and enjoying, the raw human interplay between two characters. (That being emotionally or sexually). I believe you can just enjoy the indeterminate humanness exposed in any relationship between two people. Because I can appreciate a hetero relationship sure doesn't make me straight

So I think this principle should work the other way around.

Aug 7 2005, 02:03 AM
fact one -- can't tell? i'm a girl.
i guess you can say i have a yaoi obsession

i read just about all yaoi mangas such as gravitation and fake. the others don't really have yaoi in them but i read fanfics so in my world, yaoi's going on 24/7 haha jk. but seriously, any manga that can have a possible yaoi pairing -- in fanfics -- i'll read. oh yeah, love mode is probably the best yaoi manga. i've only seen the scanlation seeing as how it'd probably be counted as porn

edit:: and no, yaoi does not mean gay -_- gosh, it just basically means guyxguy pairings with a possible lemon( sex ) or something like that. and there
is a
difference. there's also shounen-ai, which is also guyxguy pairing but w/o sexual stuff.

Haha, yeah. I hate it how they spell Keiko as Kayko. That REALLY pissed me off when I saw an ad for the new YYH video game or something and they had alot of the character's names. Under Keiko's picture, it said "Kayko".
I would have strangled the people who decided to spell it that way right then and there...

Wow...I watched Yu Yu Hakusho a couple years ago.
Though...I wonder if I said this....
One day I'm walking in Borders. I see a really nice looking yaoi book wrapped up with plastic. I knew instantly that it was a buy! Too bad it said it was for 18+ people for explicit content. (Now, I wonder if I'm a corrupted child.) (^__^)
So, I go up to the cashier and I took an X/1999 manga to back it up. (Just in case I get in trouble...) Ahahaha! So, she asked to card me. (x__X);; Horrid, ne? I'm only 15 and I couldn't buy the book!!! (>__<)

Eerie Queerie is really good, lighthearted, funny and cute. Anyone else read that one? I could only find the first volume ... I'd summerize it but it's been a while and I can't remember it.

Okay. Yeah. Um... Let me try and list them:
Earthian + Loveless
Antique Bakery
Legal Drug
Under the Full Moon + FAKE
Gravitation
Eerie Queerie
Um... Other stuff.
And, uh... Not to be REALLY nitpicky... But he is a youko. You have to understand something here... His name is Kurama. Youko is like a "Mr" preceding his name. It literally (if I got my kanji right... I think I do) means "mystical fox". The kanji for kitsune can be read as ko. =X Shutting up.

I need Loveless 2. Gah. I should've bought itin Japanese... Wait... I don't read that well. Damn. Oh... And... Once you get to FAKE 7 it gets pretty yaoi-ish. My friend confiscated it when I was reading it in class. After he confiscated the gay right-handed scissors. They're getting it on with the left-handed scissors though. But the left-handed scissors are cheating on the right-handed scissors with the safety scissors. -nods "matter-of-factly"-
And every knows it's about Yusuke&Kurama. Geez. Have you not seen the last few episodes? There's a whole scene about the tear gem and... -shuts up- Nevermind. I think... I need money to go buy Earthian 3. So the entierty of this post was pointless. Oh well.

Cute? Like girly cute or cute-cute?
Because.... -thinks- Eerie Queerie isn't so bishonen. Neither is Until the Full Moon, but that's only because Marlo turns into a girl. Oh, by the way... If you like FAKE, go read Until the Full Moon. It's only two volumes. Let's see.... -tries to think of other ones-
Gravitation is actual pretty shonen as for as stuff like this goes. Oh. And Kizuna. -coughs- Yeah. I always forget about Kizuna 'cause I haven't bought it yet. Ranmaru. Heh. Orchid circle.
... -thinks for a second- I'm not really qualified to say anything. -will literally read anything involving cute boys- Ch. The Valdemar novels are book. Cute boys. Very, very cute boys with red hair who just so happen to be with the very beautiful main character who just happens to be a guy. And we went through 118 pages to get to the 32 pages of good. Oh well. -realizes she isn't even talking about anime anymore- Shutting up.
