You can't upload .psd images for other people to see, you have to save a copy as a .gif, .png, or .jpg. However, if you want to upload it so another person can have access to it, like to download it, most likely any free file hosting site will host it for you. Look in the big book of resources for that one.

Ooh, not a bitmap, those are HUGE.
In photoshop, go to save as. Near the middle (at least on cs), there's a dropdown that says "Photoshop document .psd" (I think; I don't actually have it open). Pull open the dropdown and select JPEG (.jpg). That will save it as a copy. Then you can go to www.imageshack.us and easily host it there.
Hope that helps?

If you're saving preview, go with .gif, they're much smaller. Since you're hosting .psd's, you should save as much space as possible.
For saving previews, though, go to File -> Save for Web and select .gif.

You can zip up a .psd then host it also at any place that accepts zip files.

Almost all sites do..
And I wouldn't recommend .BMP, those are seriously annoying. They take so long to load, and usually in the end, it turns out as a broken image. blehh
