I love Kanye West. He's my fav. producer aside from the Neps.
I like Kanye despite his is arrogance and cockiness. However, I think he is stupid for saying he thinks artists should get paid to be on covers of magazines because they are boosting "the sales of the magazine."
He doesn't understand that magazines are doing him a favor and boosting his sales. That's free advertisement, free photo shoots, setting the stories straight, getting his opinions out, etc all rolled into one.
I'm beginning to think he shouldn't have dropped out of college. That was the dumbest statement I've heard in a minute.

well, usually right before a major artist drops an album, he is on the cover of most of the big magazines, which helps boost album sales and gives him free promotion... win-win situation
hey anyone hear about kanyes other rift with VIBE? VIBE gave college dropout a 4/5 and kanye wouldn't do another interview with VIBE until VIBE published a retraction of the 4/5 rating cause kanye thought it deserved a classic...

really? that's kind of rude. i mean, i personally think it deserves a 5/5, but everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

Hmm...well everybody isn't college material. If someone can't get the classes and doesn't feel as though college is right for them (and has another backup plan, music, dancing, etc) Then I say all power to them. But I think Kanye should have stayed in and learned some common sense. JK.
But yeah, you need to learn to think outside the box. It was a joke.

don't tell me what i need to learn. besides which, the expression "outside the box" typically refers to creativity and not fitting in, not being open minded. and i am being open minded. you're just not funny.

Wait, aren't they given money?
But who cares, it's his money. He can do whatever he wants with it.

This should be moved to debate. Since it is actually.... letting you choose the sides of the matter and discussing them.
