Its funny you mention courting because my friends grandpa was mentioning his grandson how to court a girl. He said you always ask the parents permission to take the girl out. And if the date is formal you bring flowers for the date and her mother. You always have the girl back home 10 minutes before the parents required time for her be back home. I have actually done what mzkandi stated. It does help. However, my first step was writing a letter that contained a poem about how I felt about her. It was not too sappy, but it was very heartfelt. Then the day after the letter, I asked her out.
