I broke up with my boyfriend (Anthony) on the last day of school because he was flirting with another girl, and because I didn't want him to cheat on me over the summer. My friend, Nick, is good friends with Anthony. I talked to Nick online, and he said that he was trash talking me; like saying "I shouldn't have gone out with her." and a whole bunch of other stuff.

I don't understand it...and when I go into 8th grade next year, I don't want to have tension between me and Anthony. By the way - I can't call him because he is in Miami, so don't suggest that I do that...

Don't worry about him anymore, there is a reason why he is now your ex. Just don't stoop down to his level and start trash talking him, be the bigger person. Right now he just feels that's all he can do since you dumped him.
