ok well i finished full metal alchemist (FMA) about mayb 4 months ago and i am still waiting fot it to be finished by the movie. now i know the movie has already come out in japan but i wanna know when it's gonna come out on video or by downloading. . so if any of u could tell me this i would be very thankful.

omg!! they are making a FMA movie?!?! why didn't anyone tell me?! maybe it'll be here in a month or two because of transistion =).

It comes out 7/23/05 in Japan. Probably would take almost a year (like the Naruto Movie) for it to come out in fansubs.

I doubt it would come to America in only a few months.

i was so dissapointed in the ending. what a great series with a weird ending. yes, my sister told me that they were making a movie. i want to see it too

I d/l the trailer to the movie and it shows Al in his armour form again. I thought this film was set after the end of the series, I only heard about the movie a week ago so I dont know anything about it, but as long as its not one of those movies set somewhere in the middle of there adventure like the naruto film(that was good but has no relevance). Hopefully the Raw download will come out quite soon, do not want to wait 7-8 months to see it.

Is there any news if they will make a third series or anything because there was a lot left out from the manga, And it was left hanging between what happened to dante and gluttony in the lift at the end. Lots of loose ends.

i saw in this jap magazine about the look in the movie, OMG that info spoiled everything for me!!! i havent even seen the end of the series yet!! So many things have changed!!!! WHY AL!!! WHY!!!!!!

I WUV FMA!!!! I can only catch it occassionally, beacause I'm a loser and I get in trouble if I stay up late enough to watch it. I love sooooooooooo much! I can't wait for a movie! I just need to figure out where to get the eps, then I can work on the movie...

Actually if you look at the new trailer at the japanese quicktime site you see that there are a whole bunch of copies of Al's old armor from the series and they are getting warped through a portal and the real Al who is a human boy sees them. They also show Ed and the real human Al together using alchemy to fight together. Then they show Al getting pulled away and yelling brother to Ed and Ed puts up his automail hand and smiles.

Oh yeah. The movie came out 7 days ago.Seriously it did.

Yeah, I'm renting the dvds from Netflix and I'm waiting for volume 4 to come...there's a super long wait. ::sighs:: But whatever, I can wait. That's awesome that there is gonna be a movie. I didn't know that. I knew there were games after Full Metal Alchemist, I just didn't know there was a movie. Frosty (my best friend) is gonna be happy if she didn't already know about this. ::nods head::

I had the Naruto movie five days after it came out. With subs.

the movie is out.. just go watch it youtube.com with subs on it.. it's better if you watch it parts by parts than seeing it all together.. because it's longer and slower to see the full ver. than parts by parts

I have it on torrent right now I\'d just download so i wouldnt deal with the buffering in You tube.

this may just be a rumor, but i've heard that since the movie has a disapointing ending (or at least most people i know weren't happy with it) there is going to be another series. i hope so, i love FMA and am having trouble accepting the fact that its over...

As for the ending being dissapointing, I didn't think so at all.

I think it was probably the best ending possible for this series considering how "realistic" and identifyable all the characters were. Most people aren't used to seeing cartoons, even Anime, deal with issues such as death and heartache in such an identifiable way and become very emotionally attatched to the characters. The ending was awesome, IMO.
