i think that when we are told our skin was rejected or accepted we should be told what layout it was because recently i sent in many and i was just told one was rejected and. i have no idea which one it was. =/
EmmalieV
Well , not a major problem. But is it that necessary?

Plus every rejected/accepeted PM , is the same. The ones that got accepted you will be able to tell and also the ones that got rejected ( because their not in the list of accepted xanga skins ).

^^ Aww, you actually got a PM? I remember submitting one and I didn't get any PM.

But yeah I guess it'd be kind of helpful, so you can improve the rejected skin. It's not necessarily a big problem though, is it?

In the new CB , we get PMīs for rejected/accepted skins.
heyyfrankie
the PMs will be in the same order as the skins you submitted. for example. let's say that you send in three skins. and you get 1 PM saying that your skin has gotten rejected. (than that would obviously mean that your first skin got rejected.) and then when you get the next PM, it is referring to your second skin you submitted and yada yada yada.

ya but its been taking a really long time for the skins to be acepted/rejected and i dont remember which i submitted and in which order.
but like i said its not really a problem just an annoyance
lovescream
Well.. then I guess that that is your fault if you forget. Simply write it down..
Does it really matter if you want to know anyways?
If it gets accepted, you'll defintely know which ones. As the rest that are rejected, you will, too, know by just remembering the other skins that were submitted but not accepted.

i think there should be a seperate forum where rejeted skins.
racoons > you
^

thats stupid

the moral of this tale? wait until you here back before you submit your next skin.

like emmalie said, PMs for accepted/rejected skins are all the same, it would be inconvinient and time consuming to have to type out a new one, everytime a skin was submited
ikn0w ur m0m
i dont think its stupid, u can see what people have done wrong and so that u wouldnt do that.

agreed
only two of mine have been accepted and those were the first two i made and i keep figuring out new things and recently all my skns have been rejected and it kind of bothers me because i dont know what exactly cb is looking for
take the myspace skins for example, they arent that complicated (design/background wise) i made a few and theyve been rejected and they arent that different from the others so im confused as to what im doing wrong
sammi rules you
just PM a xanga/blogger/designerish mod and post a screenshot of the skin and ask why it was rejected.
ikn0w ur m0m
i guess but i lyke my idea of the rejected pile.
imthebunny
lol plus if the mod doesnt have time to personalize the PM saying the skin was rejected they wont have time to get my PM asking why it was rejected, remember why, and then reply

Actually, it is a stupid idea. I mean, is a forum dedicated to rejected skins even nessecary? Meh, I think it's fine the way it is. And if you're really anxious to find out why your skin was rejected, then just PM a mod saying something like "Why was (insert layout name here) rejected?," and hopefully they'll tell you.
sammi rules you
well, we don't have time to personalize every little PM of every rejected skin.

but if you're really interested, then you can PM us.

That's probably why. They don't need twenty versions of a skin. If there are already a few like it, they probably don't need to accept it.

As Sammi said, if it bugs you that much, just PM a mod.

Actually, I tried this, but the person didn't respond. blink.gif

^ well....that's odd. =/ maybe try PMing them again? maybe it was accidental.

Actually, we can't personalize the private message at all. It's automatic.
I don't think the mods are THAT busy.. the way you describe us makes us seem like we're too occupied to help members. Give it a shot (PMing the mod back) so you won't waste your time guessing/wondering what skin it was or whether or not we'll read the PM.
