Okay you know how people always scrunch their hair and it looks all pretty and stuff. No matter what I use it never works. I have normal thin/thick hair but i see people with totally straight hair do it. Any ideas?

ok wash your hair with a special shampoo for straightening(they sell them everywhere you just have to look) and then blow dry. then get a starightener/flat iron and try to straighten it as much as possible then use an iron. an ACTUAL IRON. WARNING: THIS IS VERY RISKY AND SHOULD NOT BE ATTEMPTED ALONE. lay you head down on an ironing board with face facing up and spread out your hair but a towel under it and put hw iron on a low setting and have a friend/parent iron it don't do it too slowly do it rather quickly because you don't want to burn the hair then use a little hairspray and you should be set to go =).

curling iron perhaps? anyways scrunching your hair isn't all that good.. i cant do it either.

try putting hair cream stuff then scrunching it

weeeeeeelll.. i've never tried this but i've heard my friends talk about it:

take a shower. while hair is still wet put gel/hairspray in it, and scrunch it all up. put it in a bun and leave it to dry (sleep on it i guess) and then wake up with nice scrunched up hair.

i've never tried it, so i dunno if it works or not... but w/e.

i have that but it doesnt work that great for me nothing works on my hair.. like it will look good for 20min.. then i walk out in the humidity (north carolina sigh) and it goes back perfectly straight, or just gets all frizzy. so eh ive been trying to figure this one out for a long time =/

its simple
and its best done with wet hair.
[]all you have to do is get some hair spray or styling gel. RedKen has good stuff.
[]tilt your head so one side of you hair goes straight down.
[]take bunches of hair in your hands and close a fist around it.
[] "scrunch" it up to your head and let it go
(you should see a bit of a wave "a scruch ! ^_^"
[] reapeat it in the same spot until you get the desired entensity.
[]and than of course finish the rest of your head.
if it doesnt work umm... sry thats all i got lol.
