Click to view attachmentI was wondering if anyone might have a tutorial or be able to direct me to a tutorial on how to do something like this? For most people this is probably simple, I can do some things in PS, but I can't draw a straight, much less a curved, line to save my life.

I'd appreciate any direction. Thanks in advance!

Quick search on Yahoo! came up with these results; however, I'm not completely sure it's the same for Photoshop CS as it is for the versions these people used.

That's completely irrelevant to the topic. Don't spam up threads if you're not going to help with the original problem.

Also, your sig is vertically too large - there's a maximum of 300 px.

Azarel -

I found the last two articles by doing a Google search. I understood the concept, but when I tried it, it just didn't come out smooth or with a nice curve.

I figured out a cheat of sorts I think -

I used the shape tool and placed a large circle that filled the whole width but maybe only 80px of the bottom of the canvas. Then, using the pen tool, I added points to the circle and then manipulated the points until I was able to achieve something that is sort of close to the image I posted.

A dorky way to do it... but it worked for me.

Thanks for your help, it's greatly appreciated! biggrin.gif
