i dont know how to upload music.
im using bonedaddy.net
everytime i upload a music file it makes a link that just lets you download.
i want it so i can put it on my xanga and play it.
please help!

i did everything it told me to.
i converted it into an wma and everything.
i uploaded it correctly too.
but it still wont give me a link that just lets me play the music.
it gives me a link to my file manager home page or it downloads the music onto my computer.

Are you putting it down on your xanga? You shouldn't go to the link; of course it'll have you download it. That's one way to see if it works or not.
Or just upload it somewhere else.
WMA files will go good in http://www.blogupload.com/

why don't you just look for the song code instead of trying to to upload it?

because it's really hard to find some new songs or some not notice songs....

but what site are you using? did you right click>>click on copy shortcut

You're not supposed to CLICK the link.
You are only supposed to copy and paste that whole link into your xanga look&feel box of where to put music.

It asks you to dowload it because you can't play it otherwise. You do the same thing for most other music, but it deletes the files once you close the windows. Or.... That's how it supposed to work.
