i absolutely love american football. i bought their lp about a year and a half ago, and i've been a fan ever since. it's such a shame that they broke up before releasing a larger amount of material.
there's something about frausdots that i enjoy, even though the singer's voice kind of gets on my nerves.

Does anyone know how to create an iTunes library out of the files you have on your iPod instead of your computer? Is that even possible?

^yes, there are tons of programs that put the files onto your computer from your ipod, and some import them into itunes for you.
http://www.ipodlounge.com has a lot; i'll try to find you the one i used.
apples in stereo are good. my favorite song by them sadly is the powerpuff girls one, haha.
edit: i honestly cannot find or remember which program i used. i went through all of them on ipodlounge, and nothing! the only thing i remember is you had to plug in your ipod, put the .exe file onto your ipod, and run it from there. the only one that looked good to me was
copypod. hope it works.

To solve her problem, you could insert the iPod, and on the pop up click "no" (you don't want to change your existing iPod's library to the one you have on your comp. right now), and then you will see on your right hand menu side Your iPod with a dropdown of all your playlists and such. Then, go to the lower left hand corner of your iTunes screen and click the iPod options button. On the pop up, instead of automatically arranging songs, go to manually manage the songs and the files. Then, you can switch music between the two libraries. The only downside is that you will have to well, manually manage everything. It takes a while, but that is what I did when my other computer crashed. Hope you fix your iPod!

oh, by the way, this is slightly off topic but i don't have much time
does anyone think rhapsodie (the $10 a month music downloading program) is worth it? do they have a decent amount of underground bands and such? i don't especially want it, but it's the only way i'm going to be allowed to download music at this point, since i'm being blamed for our new computer getting a virus/being hacked/he really doesn't even know what he's talking about

Thanks William and Rockstermonkey (I'm afraid I've never caught your name?).
I downloaded Copypod, but alas, it could only transfer 100 songs onto my computer unless I buy the full version. Then I used the advice RM gave, but because I am freakishly lazy, I decided to just download another program similar to Copypod and auto-sync (program = iPod Agent), and it works great (atleast so far).
Anyway, I've been hearing "Telescope Eyes" everywhere lately. I'm not sure whether to be happy or sad.

ew. i haven't downloaded or found any new bands in four days. blasphemy! but i am ordering one of a trillion barnacle lapse's cds tonight... and since all the cds at sound virus are so cheap i might pick another one up, but i can't choose because i'm too damn indecisive.
