- Funeral Diner
- As Friends Rust
- Comeback Kid
- Gorilla Biscuits
for some reason, i didn't see this post before.. but the funny thing is i came to post about milemarker. damn you for being quick.
um, didley squat is interesting. they're playing a show tomorrow night here, but i can't go because it's a school night. laaaaaame.

How'd you hear about them anyway? Curious, is all, since it's been awhile since their last album.
I've known about them for quite awhile, because of Al Burian/Challenger, and well, them being a Chicago band and all.

^i was on singingfish looking for american football mp3's to put on my myspace, and that epitonic music site came up. anyways, i found it interesting and searched around for about an hour, and i really liked the milemarker songs they had.
...and i am still obsessed with onelinedrawing. visitor is better than the volunteers, imo.

lol i listen mostly to underground hiphop and such.
but underground rappers are who i find best of the rap world. like andrea nikatina, messy marv, sally sal, yukmouth and thangs.
i have a lot more but im too lazy to look in my limewire and music files to find any names that dont pop out at me.
Of course Bay Area underground music is great, but if you really like the artists as much as it seems like. You should actually buy their albums, instead of downloading them on Limewire. it shows your support. But Frontline is my favorite group right now from the Bay. I also like this group called Trum Dawgs. I found them on myspace. (

haha sweet. I hate that limewire doesnt allow slashes or anything, makes things so annoying >_>.

It's:

Zolof the Rock & Roll Destroyer - Zolof the Rock & Roll Destroyer
1. Moment
2. Plays Pretty for Baby
3. Ode to Madonna
4. Words for Now
5. Mean Old Coot
6. Mr. Song
7. Riding Trains in November
8. Simon
9. There's That One Person You'll Never Get Over No Matter How Long It's Been
These Arms Are Snakes are a good choice.
I'm going to be seeing them with Minus the Bear and Thunderbirds Are Now!
They're an amazing band live (actually, all three of them) so all should try to catch this tour.

Sep 10 2005, 12:05 AM
ever since i saw the concert photos of thunderbirds are now! playing at intonation, i have decided they would be one of the most fun bands to see live. their dance moves seem really intense, and i'm reeeeally jealous of you now. hopefully i can hit one of my new friends with decent music taste (one of the sole bonuses of high school so far) to catch them when (or if?) they come to the bay area.
uh, i would reccommend bands right now, but i haven't downloaded or checked out any new music since +/-. lame.
edit: silversun pickups, the ditty bops, youth group, portastatic, tullycraft.

Sep 10 2005, 03:18 PM
Yeah, I saw them back in 2003, when they were on tour with The Locust. Definitely an entertaining band, because they move around alot, and their keyboard/tamborine guy (can't ever remember his name) might as all have the worst case of ADD I've ever seen. haha.
But yeah, everyone seems it get into them, even if they've never heard them. That and they're pretty sweet guys too.

Sep 10 2005, 08:43 PM
^haha. but it sounds like a great tour.
i downloaded a lot of twee pop today: all girl summer fun band, the boy least likely to, the diskettes, go sailor, hormones in abundance, math and physics club, the mean corner, and the owls.
also, does anyone have "falling out of love (with you)" by the 6ths? i really like the cover of it by tullycraft (and i think a synthpop band pauline mentioned covered it too), but i can't find the original anywhere. i'd be willing to send some stuff in return too (AIM: wtf its william).

william, that site's not in english, so i can't find any downloadable mp3s. i'd rather download than stream, because i don't listen to things until i put them on my ipod. their name amsues me, though. i want to like them just for that.
