Hey guys! I was thinking of what to say on this topic, and I decided Ashlee Simpson. Do you guys think she is a fake and really is a lip singer? Let's hear some opinions.

My opinion is she is NOT. If you all watch the Ashlee Simpson Show, it tells everything. She had something wrong with her throat for a long time, and she couldn't sing very well. She had to cancel some concerts even (yes, it was that bad). And then she got it again, and she couldn't cancel this concert, so her doctor told her that she needed to sing all along and lip sing that night because she would ruin her vocal box. So she was doin everything right, but then they played the wrong song! But I mean, wouldn't you sing along instead of ruin your beautiful voice?

So reply to this please!

I don't really think she lip synchs often... I suppose it's just when her voice gets all awry and what not. I feel really bad for what happened to her during SNL and the Orange Bowl. Nobody would let her live it down for weeks.

i personally don't care for ashlee or her voice that much. i mean some of her songs r ok. and i don't hate her cuz she lip synchs, haha a lot of ppl lip synch...only what's different is they didn't get caught. but i do like her sister's voice much better, but some of her songs r um ok i guess.

She could lip sync at any of her concerts and ( if they don't play the wrong song again =P ) not get caught. She just got caught once. What I think is 'wrong with her throat' is really having no talent. I don't think it's a real condition, though =/ She never COULD sing well, in my opinion. Plenty of bands like their singers to strain for some songs, but that's all Ashlee does. Don't you see the effort it takes for her to croak out a verse? Do you mean 'sing along' or lip sync along? Pehh. Anyway, doctors can be payed to say what other people want them to. =) Most bands are TERRIBLE live because their music and vocals are messed with. "And all the technology in the world couldn't get Ashlee an album again.." I think she's popular and only had a shot, mainly because of who her sister is. I do think it's wrong though, that people held the lip syncing incident against her.

naw i dont think so. i think she's one of those singers who arent natural. but has to keep practicing and practicing to get the sounds and tones right.

i dont believe a word her or her supid show says, or what the media is saying! they both lie to cover their asses over each others lies and so on @_@ i've never been to one of her concerts, so i couldnt tell you, althoguh i did see snl lol which was funny. i agree with what cello said, mostly

yea i agree i think snl was because her voice was really straining. i dont think she has a GREAT voice but it is good and unique. it has that sandy feeling to it but its nothing compared to like mariah carey or kelly clarkson

im a fan of her though, she's just such a ditz and realli cute haha

nevertheless she DOES get herself into the news either good or bad and she IS an entertainer

well i think she does... if you were caught lip synching on SNL wouldn't you try and blame it on your voice or something?
