I made a radioblog and it is not working. When I put it up on my site, the hosting name comes up. I found out it is because the index.php is messed up. Does anyone know how to fix this?

This was the HTML I put in:

And this was the encoded output I put in my header:

.... Because your index.php is non-exsistant.
Upload it again, and make sure you see it in your file-manager or whatever.

Have you tried your link (http://www.freewebtown.com/IamTheChin77/RadioBlog/index.php)? It doesn't even work; of course it won't show up on your xanga, lol.

i tried re-uploading it and it still won't show. All the other things show like the rbcore and everything. But the index.php won't work. Is it because I'm using FreeWebTown or what?
hyperchick
Maybe freewebtown doesn't allow php? Go check the faq or something about that.
lovescream
Probably because freewebtown doesnt accept php files? Iunno. I've never used freewebtown. Try using a different host or something.

you dont encode it . thats y .
redo it and use this tutorial: http://hannaxbear.shadows-the-sky.com/inde...?page=radioblog
its a tut that teaches you hwo to do it on a free server . when you do it on a freesever you use diffrent radioblog files they are like the normal ones but jsut use that tut and re-do it .
hyperchick
Also, actually you do encode it. Or else xanga won't let you put an iframe on your xanga.

You said you put it in your header. Well that's why. The encoded part is javascript, and I think you can only post javascript in webstats. So stick it there, once you have a host that allows php.
talcumpowder
..... You put it in header. Trust me....
The javascript box screws up anything besides tagboards. I don't think it reads it right...
freeflow
you dont have to use an iframe . you can use a div w/ an iframe and you wont have to encode it.
CODE
<div id="iframe" style="position: absolute; width:222px;height:300px;left:500px;top:300px;">
<iframe src="URL" name="radio" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" width="222" height="300"></iframe></div>

and you should go to your freewebs and create a directory for radioblog and put all your music files and everything in there . and then your url will be this

http://freewebtown.com/YOURUSERNAME/radioblog/
leave that as your url and put it in the above code and it should work .

This IS for your xanga right? Well I don't know about anyone else, but iframes don't work on xangas. Xanga even says so. Read here: http://help.xanga.com/tagboards.htm They don't support iframes because it's unsafe and you don't know what people would put on their sites. So yes, you need to encode it if you want to put it on your XANGA. I'm assuming it is, because I remember you first posted this in xanga help and they moved it to here. If it's for a website, you don't need to encode it.

Second of all, who said put it in javascript module? Javascript is just for your chatterbox. I said WEBSTATS. Don't say I am wrong, because how else did I get MY radioblog to work? It is on my xanga. Click on the link in my signature.

I wasn't ranting at you. I was telling you (and the original poster) how to actually put up a radioblog. Maybe it's because you've been putting down all of my answers when they were right anyway that made me seem mean to you, but I wasn't TRYING to be ranting and mean anyway.

Gosh, where IS the original poster anyway? Kind of pointless to continue posting when he isn't even replying.
